Park & Launch Service
At Abersoch Land & Sea, we have the peninsula’s premier park and launch facility. We have capacity for up to 100 boats and personal water craft at our boatyard in the heart of Abersoch, and can cater for boats up to 30 feet.
Key benefits of our service include:
• We are open everyday from 1 March until 31 October every year
• We launch from 8.30am and retrieve your boat until at least 5pm and often as late as 6.30pm.
• We can launch and retrieve your boat at any state of tide.
• Our large fleet of launching tractors enables us to get you on and off the water as quickly as possible so that you maximise your enjoyment.
• All boat owners can park their vehicle in their boat space whilst out on the water.
• Our own onsite fuel facility.
• Preferential access to our workshops just in case everything does not go to plan – we aim where possible to assist out park and launch customers as soon as possible and to get their boat on the water the same day.
Our seamless service enables you to get out on the water without having to touch the sand and without getting wet (if that is what you wish!).

We also offer competitive rates to store your boat in the winter. Services available include:
• Indoor storage

It is essential that your vessel receives regular routine maintenance and that any necessary work is professionally carried out. Whilst it may often seem preferable at the time, avoiding routine maintenance and/or having budget repairs done to your boat will generally prove more expensive in the long term, may invalidate your warranty and can reduce resale value.
Our senior technicians have over 50 years of marine engineering experience and form an integral part of our after sales care.
Abersoch Land & Sea is an appointed service centre for:

• Mercury MerCruiser
• Kawasaki,
and our engineers have experience with practically every other make and model.
We can carry out anything from minor checks to complete engine installations. Work that we regularly carry out includes:
• Winterisation and de-winterisation
• Engine servicing and overhaul
• Sterndrive servicing and overhaul
• Routine maintenance to pod units (such as Volvo Penta IPS) and shafts
• Outboard, sterndrive and inboard engine installation
• Diagnosis and repair or intermittent or unusual engine issues.
Other Services
Our team our also able to provide non-mechanical services including:
• Major and minor fibreglass and gel coat repair work
• Valeting and cleaning services including teak installation, maintenance and restoration
• Wakeboard tower installation
• Antifouling
• Trailer inspection and servicing
• Bespoke requirements such as bathing platform installation.

Marine Charter Sea School offers RYA Powerboat Training from Level 1 to Advanced Powerboat on our fully MCA coded RIB or your own craft and will allow you your 10M ICC. We also offer the full range of Power Cruising courses for Helmsman, Dayskipper, Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Power on our fully MCA coded a 42ft Cranchi Cruiser.
If you require a shore based RYA course, we can offer you the full range inclusive of VHF & First Aid all courses both shore based and practical can be delivered on a sole tuition and own boat basis if required.
